Terms of use and music licensing

These terms regulate informational use of the website and clarify that any commercial or public use of the music catalogue requires prior authorization and written conditions.

1. Website use

The website www.canaryislandsmusic.com presents information about an independent music catalogue, related services, possible licences, client solutions and business contact. Users agree to use the website lawfully and respectfully.

2. Music catalogue

The catalogue may be available for listening through external music platforms. Listening, purchasing or streaming availability does not automatically grant rights for commercial use, public performance, audiovisual synchronization, broadcasting, redistribution or integration into third-party content.

3. Licences and commercial uses

Any use in hotels, restaurants, B&Bs, shops, events, commercial spaces, campaigns, websites, videos, podcasts, social media, digital channels, radio or installations requires a prior request and written authorization. Conditions are defined case by case according to duration, territory, channels, purpose, project type and scope of use.

4. Synchronization with video and digital content

Using music with images, videos, ads, reels, branded content, documentaries, trailers, video podcasts or web productions may require a specific synchronization licence. Authorization must be obtained before publishing or distributing the content.

  • Reselling, sublicensing or distributing content without permission.
  • Modifying, sampling or transforming tracks for commercial purposes without authorization.
  • Associating the music with illegal, discriminatory, violent, misleading or reputation-damaging content.
